ConSIMium 2027 - Call for Applications: Third-Year Bachelor's and Long-Cycle Master's Students and All Second-Cycle Master's Students

Would you like to experience how decisions are made in the European Union? Apply for ConSIMium 2027, an international simulation of the Council of the European Union and the European Council, taking place in Brussels on 4-5 February 2027!

ConSIMium offers a unique opportunity to step into the shoes of EU decision-makers and take part in negotiations held in the actual meeting rooms of the EU institutions.

The event will bring together more than 160 students from all 27 EU Member States. Each national team of six students will simulate the roles of heads of state or government, ministers, ambassadors, national experts and journalists, gaining first-hand experience of European decision-making processes.

Applications are open to:

• third-year Bachelor's degree students;
• students enrolled in second-cycle Master's degree programmes.

Applicants must be citizens of an EU Member State, demonstrate an interest in European affairs, have a good academic record and be proficient in at least two official EU languages. English proficiency at B2 level or above is considered an advantage.

Preference will be given to students aged 28 or under who have not previously participated in ConSIMium.

Travel and accommodation

The organisers will cover travel expenses to and from Brussels (3 and 6 February 2027) and accommodation for three nights. Travel must begin and end in the city where the participant's home university is located.

• a motivation letter;
• supporting documents demonstrating relevant experience, achievements or competencies;
• consent to the processing of personal data for recruitment purposes.

The final selection of the six students representing Poland will be carried out by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP).
